LL's 17

Whilst the Super Junior fans race their way to the Putra Indoor stadium with much anticipation for their long-awaited concert, the Foo family went to Unique Seafood to celebrate our second princess's 17th birthday instead..

I didn't know unique = 奇怪 in Chinese..isn't it suppose to be 特别? =.=

As I enter, a breeze of familiarity hit me, this place is very much like the Fisherman in Midah! Hence, we decided to call something unfamiliar such as the great Geoduck which a crazy friend of mine described as the "elephant's nose".

It does look like an elephant nose though...and erm..yah it's an expensive "nose"

A very big fish. If only I can have its head~ xD..and eyes 0.o

The food took quite some time. We guessed it's the geoduck that's causing the delay. Ever since I set eyes on the geoduck I was attracted by it's strange form. A large shell with a long...something... :S Anyways, it's a good thing the restaurant's filled with aquariums with fish and seafood of various sizes. Made me feel like I was in an underwater world tour >.< The food came at last. The taste of the geoduck wasn't as appealing and appetizing as I thought it would be =( and the dish was rather small despite the size of the geoduck itself. =(( Nevertheless, we had a good dinner...=) My mum suggested that we take the shell of the geoduck home as souvenir =.= so we began our attempt to remove the shell from the dish only to realize that the shell has been strongly glued to the plate itself =.=' I guess the only "souvenir" we can bring home is the food we ate. Which...will eventually be flushed down the toilet bowl =X

So, this is a late post with a wish:

Happy Birthday LL~!

By the way, the Super Junior concert was a blast..i'm pretty sure of it heh. I wasn't there in person but a picture do speak a thousand words, a video speaks even more. People who went came back awestruck. The next time they come I'm going! >< but I'm still more of a DBSK supporter lalala~

Toodles.

Boys will be boys

"There's only two things that will make a guy sad: money & girls"

Heard that phrase too many a times in those drama series I used to be religiously after.

On the other hand, we have equation for women like this:

I have, however, an "exposition" by boys..

Early this week we were asked to comment about anything regarding the University so that necessary adjustments and improvements can be made. A sheet of paper was passed around and whoever wishes to make his/her comments be known shall write on it.

By the time I took the paper, it's already filled with comments so I took the liberty to read...teehee. After having read the paper, my conclusion is:

"Boys will be boys oh yes they will"

Some of the written "comments" are:
"HUAT AH!"
"not enough girls"
"nelly rocks"
"more free parking/replace parking with sem break"
"enlarge the canteen. more choices of food and cheaper since we are students. RM 4.50 for maggi mee without EGG!! Ridiculous!! More parking at the "forest". -yada yada- replace the water filter.open more comp labs. -yada yada- change timetable...Jam la ='((( "

so much for "women are hard to please" =.=

Tsk tsk...boys~ :P
for clearer view..pardon the imprecision of the image >< sorry la poor camera ma

Anyways, something random:

Are you smarter than a 9 year old?

Q: RM 1,000,000.00 in words
A: one thousand-thousand

One thousand-thousand @.@ and I heard that from a student from uni..no offense but...lol~

TAFN (thats all for now)

Bridal Cars

note: I guess I've diverged/will diverge pretty much from the "theme" for this blog which is "Memories" because from now on, the contents of this blog will mostly be just some blabbing and random thoughts instead of the actual idea of blogging some memorable events ;) hehe.

My sister and I saw a bridal car today at our condominium. Not too long ago, bridal cars used to be what? Mercedes?

Lets look at the evolution of bridal cars:
Carriages --> Classic cars (ie: pontiac) --> Commercial cars (ie: BMW, Mercedes Benz) --> Luxury cars (ie: limo)

The one we saw today was an Alphard..then we started talking about bridal cars
sis: wah need such a big car or not oh...
me: auto door mar..nowadays ppl more high tech d
sis: ya hor..can save one angpao
me: but then...imagine if my bridal car next time's a lamborghini car! *fantasize*

[dont have photoshop so cant edit..=( ]

It's a cool idea to ride on a carriage too!! ^^ like that in those fairy tales..okay shall spare you my dilemma.. or should i say, my fantasies :P and no i'm not marrying anytime soon..

toodles~

Eighteen

'Cause when you're eighteen
And S.P.M tells you you made it
You're gonna believe it
And when you're eighteen feeling like there's nothing to figure out
Well, count to ten, take it in
This is life before you know who you're gonna be
Eighteen

Finally

Finally I update

Finally I am back in uni

Finally I have assignments, projects, reports, class tests

Finally I have to drive so far and get caught in jams because most of my classes are looong and they end late

Finally, I ain't complaining, just saying...finally

Who am I

Who am I, that the Lord of all the earth
Would care to know my name
Would care to feel my hurt
Who am I, that the bright and morning star
Would choose to light the way
For my ever wandering heart

Not because of who I am
But because of what You've done

Not because of what I've done

But because of who You are

I am a flower quickly fading
Here today and gone tomorrow
A wave tossed in the ocean
A vapour in the wind
Still You hear me when I'm calling
Lord You catch me when I'm falling
And You told me who I am
I am Yours
I am Yours

Who am I, that the eyes that see my sin
Would look on me with love and watch me rise again
Who am I, that the voice that calmed the sea
Would call out through the rain
And calm the storm in me

Whom shall I fear
Whom shall I fear
I am Yours
I am Yours

Knife

Mummy always told me not to play with knives since young. But somehow, someday, I would have to get a grip of it myself and learn how to use it well. In the process, there'll be cuts.
There are many knives in life that we've to learn to handle.

Mishaps are like knives that either serve us or cut us,
as we grasp them by the blade or the handle
-James Russell Lowell

So here comes my definition of persevere = persist when it's severe
